Great selection of hot and cold snacks, locally owned (probably?) and a lovely warm and cosy place to dine. I was a little disappointed to only get a small sprinkling of cheese on a jacket potato that cost 4. I'd estimate only about a heaped table spoon was given on a potato smaller than fist sized.

Train stations, much like our High Streets, often look the same, with the same brands of coffee shops and retailers appearing time and time again. The Ely Food Station, I'm delighted to say, is the antithesis of this. A wide range of snacks and drink (including alcoholic drinks and a surprisingly good wine list), with efficient and polite service, and the choice of sitting by inside or out. If you're travelling to or from Ely, or changing here, I'd recommend stopping by.
Great range of vegetarian and vegan options and at better prices than most places at stations. Lovely staff too!
