Top, top, quality buying experience. I paid a deposit (September '18) on a 2nd hand Skoda, without even seeing the car, and two and a half months before returning to the UK.I collected it at the beginning of December, although 4 years old it was totally immaculate, a great credit to this dealer.Being over a 4 hour drive I chose to travel one day, B&B overnight at the adjacent pub (the same ownership, equally impressive, immaculate accommodation) and drive back the following day. I've now been driving over 50 years, and long journeys no longer appeal as they did years ago, but my new (2nd hand) Skoda Fabia was a dream drive.This is my 4th Skoda in 11 years, an Octavia hatch followed by an Octavia estate, followed by a Fabia hatch, and now a Fabia estate.All were purchased from official Skoda dealers, but I rate my buying experience from A.L.S. as being above and beyond any other Skoda experience, I'll certainly be looking to use them again, even though I don't enjoy the journey.I had it hand washed yesterday (NO CHEMICALS, just jet was and hand wash, as instructed by A.L.S.), four and a half weeks after collecting it, it looks just as immaculate as the day it was made, it's a long 'keeper'!So, my 4th Skoda purchase in 11 years, other than routine servicing and mot's I've spent nothing on any of them, a brand that I have great respect for, and a dealership that goes above and beyond, marks out of 10? 11!
A great garage. No pushy salesmen. A good selection of new and used cars with a fully equipped workshop. I had a test drive without a salesman sitting next to me. I would recommend this local garage.
Really excellent service from Jonathan one of the Sales guys. We initially discussed price and trade in options over the Autotrader Chat app as they we're over 60 miles from me. Jonathan rang back with a possible trade in valve if the my car matched by description . I could then assess if i could afford the car before making the journey. Once I did met Jonathan in person he was as helpful, friendly and relaxed as he was on the phone and chat. There was no pressure at all. A proper test drive with no restrictions on time/distance. Would definitely use again without question.
