We moved here in 2018. I find this Practice is so much better as it seems very efficient in seeing you/and GP's contacting by phone. I have seen one GP/Nurse who could have been better in their manner, receptions/dispensary staff very helpful. Overall very pleased.
Everyone was so helpful and efficient whilst dealing with a packed surgery waiting for flu vaccinations. They could not have been kinder and, knowing I had a problem standing organised a chair for me. We are lucky to have such a good Practice to take care of us.
The on call Dr today was very abrupt as she has been before, so much so that she made me feel very uncomfortable and as if I was wasting her time before I had even told her what was wrong. When I told her she replied you can see Dr **** at **** I said ok and she basically said bye and put the phone down very abruptly and left me feeling upset. I very rarely see a Dr at the surgery I only go when I'm desperate and am not a time waster. Most of the Doctors down there that I have seen over the years or had dealings with have been very nice but this particular one is so rude. If I spoke to a patient at work like that I would be in trouble. I have to say the nursing staff are great at the surgery.
Some of the Drs and phlebotomists are nice while others are straight up rude. One example was with one of the male Drs who when I told him about a medication I took previously he adamently told me that I wrong and must be confused, without even looking at my records. I insisted that he check my file and once he did he quickly changed the subject and started aggressively asking me questions.I've also had a wonderful and sweet phlobotomists who was kind and caring from the moment I walked in until I left. It really is a mixed bag as other people have said.
Like a lot of reviewers have stated. A very mixed bag. Staff range from extremely caring and knowledgeable to apathetic and rude. It just depends on who you are lucky enough to see.Reception staff ask what the issue is when booking appointments, I'm not sure why as they aren't medically trained but always good fun to decide whether you want the back office knowing what your problems are or not.One set of staff that I can sing the praises of are the nurses. Always very polite, friendly and helpful.
