Ely river side is lovely the park has a play ground for little ones, the country park has a nice play ground for a bit older kids. The park goes down to the river, where there are three different restaurants, antique centre and a tea shop are all close by. Bring a picnic on a Sunday afternoon in the summer and listen to the brass band. A great way to spend an afternoon

Not a very exciting green space between the river and a dull bit of the city. Ok for a bit of space to just sit and munch a supermarket sandwich. Better that it's there, than not!

Nice little garden leading down to the river. Has several eel sculptures. This summer with the lack of rain the grass was rather short and brown. Congratulate the council for not wasting water on watering the garden.

Love this area for a family day out. The children love the park. It is right near the river with restaurants walking distance away. There are public events as well that are enjoyable. The antique shop a few minutes away is a nice little place to explore and have the kids find treasures. Great area to feed the ducks and what not as well. Nice, green, and well kept area. Just wish there were more areas that provided shade for adults.

If you live in Ely you must come out here often. The parking is free & its wonderful to just amble along the river, watch the river traffic, eat an ice cream or eat at one the the eateries. There is also a nice play area for kids where they can run around & expend energy while you sit in the sun (summer) & watch the world go by.
