Much improved range since I last went in there.
Monday morning no mince on the shelf but delevery was being worked, i asked if there was anyvand was told no, REALLY!!! I worked 14 years at tescos so i asked another member of staff nothing to do with fresh who then brought me different options to pick from, shame all the staff are are helpfull.
Two words summarise this 2 star rating, self checkouts. Infuriating contraptions that I'm sure save the companies using them a fortune but just leave you wanting to launch a whirlwind of tinned spaghetti at them. Other than that ..it's an Asda, it's fine.
I guess you get what you pay for in Asda. It was local and convenient. One staff member was pretty rude. Another didn't know what currents were. The final straw was that they couldn't serve donut's as "it wasn't time yet". It was 11.30 and they were cooked and bagged behind the counter!
A smaller branch of Asda, but with a reasonable selection of products. Parking is free and modest. The supermarket does quite a good range of special offers. The staff are friendly and helpful, a guy called Chris was really helpful and couldn't do enough to help.Checkouts are mostly self service, which can be a chore.
