Just had a meal, my wife had the hunters chicken which was acceptable I had the mixed grill which was not! I am sure the sausage was left over from breakfast, the mushroom was tiny dry and shrivelled and there was only one onion ring. The restaurant bench seats were very grubby and the table that the toaster was on, presumably used for breakfast looked as if it had been in a air raid and not cleaned afterwards.
Lovely place friendly staff good food. Wonderful Ambience. Stayed a few days really enjoyed our stay. Room is comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend
Quick stop for a coffee and early morning bacon sandwich. Quick and efficient service. Decent coffee and bacon sandwich was good for the price. Good to support this local restaurant.
I don't know where anyone gets the idea that the rooms are dated - I found them to be spotless, pleasant, and up to date. The staff were excellent and friendly. The property is charming and comfortable and very well situated.
Excellent pub food. Good range of choices healthy and otherwise. Good veggie and even vegan options. (Theres even vegan ice cream). Friendly bar staff. Am most impressed!
