Pros: They were OK with a last minute evening booking, other nearby sites did not allow arrivals after 8pm. The site is on the flat.Cons: The gents toilet/shower facilities were in poor condition and the light did not work. 20 for one small tent pitch for one night was steep paricpartrly bearing in mind the state of the facilities. Looked like the majority of the people actually lived there in their caravans so site was more residential than people on holidays etc.
I don't want to be harsh as I know people are trying to run a business and the people who lived here were nice, but this is not suited for dropping in. There is very little space for campers and the Ladies toilet was blocked and had been for 3 weeks apparently. We paid upfront for 2 nights and only stayed one. I don't want to list problems but I don't recommend this for campers, I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad, so thought I better confirm it.
Not bad but it is very expensive if you want to caravan on there I've got your 100 a week
Cheap and cheerful, we have been a few times, basic facilities, friendly owner.
A dirty unclean site that I will NEVER be staying at again. Its a disgrace. Calls itself a caravan park? And the price they charge for the terrible stay? The council needs to do something about the site - It needs condemning. Men's shower floods due to blockage, poor lighting and the tiles outside the shower block are a health and safety hazard! All problems notified to site Manager over 4 weeks ago! Very rude Site Manager, and rude to guests. If you values your comfort and cleanliness, AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
