Amazing! The best place to stay in Ely!
Was looked after very well, breakfast very good and kept you going till supper time. Bed very comfy with room nice and warm. Owners very charming couple and very knowledgeable about Ely especially the cathedral which is well worth a visit and tour. Could not fault we had a lovely couple of nights.
I stayed with a group of friends in the self-catering Coach House. It is full of character, with an amazing collection of good books, pictures, antiques and historic artefacts. The garden is delightful. The location is superb; Ely is such an interesting city and the cathedral is spectacular. There are excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. Jenny and Robin, the owners, are charming and helpful. All in all, a magical place to stay - and very English.
