Spent a brilliant, memorable weekend, with friends, on this beautifully renovated Dutch barge, in the beautiful city of Ely. Lovely, warm welcome on arrival from the owners daughter. Superb, full English Breakfast, with locally sourced produce, one cooked by the owner and another by a local chef. Happy to share local knowledge of places to visit and where to eat. Fabulous.
My husband treated me to a night on the Waternimf barge on the Ely River Ouse and I really enjoyed the whole experience and I would do it again !
Novel place to stay - it is a boat! We were made very welcome. Outside it is a hundred+ year old Dutch river barge. Inside it's a modern adaptation to comfortable, space efficient hotel accomodation. Really enjoyed our stay and breakfast, thank you.
