Spent three very enjoyable nights there and couldn't fault it. Beautiful large rooms that were spotlessly clean, great breakfast and excellent staff. Truly five star plus.
The old hall ely is in a beautiful location perfect for weddings and it feels like you're staying in somebody's house rather than a hotel there is plenty of history in the building the furniture was very nice the bathroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable one of the best I've ever slept in the staff was very friendly great customer service all in all the hotel was spotlessly clean five stars from me.The only downside is at night it is very hard to locate the hotel and I stayed in room 21 and where the toilet is located in the corner of the room the ceiling slopes down and I hit my head.
Amazing Wedding Venue - The staff (especially Amy) will go the extra mile always for the bride and groom and made the whole process so easy and lovely! Wedding planning is stressful, but I do miss our little wedding catch ups! The food here is amazing as well - double portions on your wedding day is always going to be my number one recommendation for future couples!
Fantastic. What can I say. We live in Kent but 20years ago we live just down the Red in Soham. So nearly every day we drove past, what was at the time a derelict. Now it's been put back to its former glory and more. The room was massive. Breakfast great the staff super friendly. Yes they do weddings and I understand why. The grounds a brilliant. As a B&B fantastic value for money. Loved it. Cheers to the Old Hall Ely.
